Position: Assistant Sourcing Manager, SCM Salary range: 40 – 50K (Negotiable)  Benefits: As per company policy.Job Location: Banani Application deadline: Urgent. Key Responsibilities: Planning:– Plan and forecast demand in collaboration with sales and production teams to ensure adequate stock levels.– Develop SKU-wise sourcing plan to facilitate agreed business plans.– Develop quality standards for sourced products to meet the quality standards of the end products.– Develop finance finance-friendly payable policy.– Build and maintain a diversified supplier base to reduce dependency risks.– Develop optimal sourcing strategy based on seasonality and location for respective products and materials.– Conduct market research to track commodity price trends and mitigate risk.– Align procurement strategies with sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals.– Develop a sourcing plan for ABPs.– Plan profit/cost centre budgets for the department. Execution:– Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers.– Ensure timely procurement and delivery by coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers.– Maintain efficient stock levels.– Oversee vendor performance, resolving issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery delays.– Implement cost-saving measures through effective negotiation, efficient procurement practices, and adequate payable management.– Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in all sourcing activities.– Collaborate with production and sales teams to address inventory and supply challenges.– Ensure adequate utilization of available tech tools [Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate actionable insights.] in the operation of the department.– Manage profit/cost center efficiently. Manage sourcing team. Reporting:– Periodic Budget vs Actual sourcing report.– Quality inspection report.– Present periodic reports to top management on sourcing performance, risk assessments, and market conditions.– Check and validate Inventory movement report, space allocation report– Provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement initiatives.– Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.– Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
